Pigs Direct serves the independent producer by providing healthy Segregated Early Wean (SEW) pigs from certified herds. Pigs Direct inspects SEW pigs at nurseries and monitors costs/profit potentials. The program also sets achievable guidelines in minimizing production and management risks for producers; aligns sound monitoring options, packer contracts and formula pricing. It provides genetics with maximum performance, consistent with packer needs.
